Help is Always Available
SPARCC is a Sarasota, Florida-based nonprofit organization that aims to stop domestic and sexual violence. It is the only state-certified center for domestic violence and sexual assault services in Sarasota County. SPARCC assists survivors, while promoting social change to prevent future violence. They operate 365 days a year and have a 24-hour crisis helpline. Enzymedica is a proud sponsor of SPARCC and other local nonprofits.

SPARCC’s mission is not only to stop domestic violence but also to promote social change through community awareness to prevent violence in the future. SPARCC supports survivors with help getting to the hospital, counseling, or the courthouse, as well assistance with legal services and support groups. SPARCC also provides empowerment programs and community education.
In October 2019, Enzymedica was honored to be the presenting sponsor for SPARCC’s Amazing Raise fundraising event. A team from Enzymedica volunteered time and began a grassroots fundraiser within the company to help support the event. That evening Enzymedica donated over $15,000 to SPARCC, helping support their mission and bring awareness of their organization to local businesses and philanthropists. This event assisted in solidifying SPARCC as a necessity in our community as a safe haven for women in crisis.
