Living with gluten sensitivities, celiac, and other food sensitivities can be challenging. By some estimates, one in ten people are gluten-free. More than 90% of people with celiac disease are misdiagnosed or go undiagnosed. Public awareness of food sensitives is growing. While there isn’t a pharmaceutical cure for celiac disease or food sensitivities, learning about how best to live with these issues helps alleviate frustration and greatly increases quality of life. You can meet other people struggling with the same issues, learn new ways to prepare favorite foods, and get answers to important questions about living with celiac and gluten sensitivities at gluten free conferences and events.

If you are caring for someone with celiac disease, or living with it yourself, this conference offers a unique opportunity to help with gluten sensitivity research. In an effort to develop patient-centered research and healthcare for celiac disease, doctors are forming important partnerships with people affected by this disease. Participants will have the opportunity to evaluate grant proposals, serve on clinical guidelines panels and research study committees, help with research, mentor new patient advocates, and even become a PCORI Patient Ambassador.
